Have you ever been to Industry City in Brooklyn? It is such a cool place to visit! There is so much to do and see. It’s family friendly and even doggie friendly.
It was a long dive for me but totally worth it! I thought i may have trouble parking but it was so easy. There are lots and they are so reasonable. $15 max for the day. They are pretty tight spots though. for this 30 year Long Islander, it was pretty scary!
I went with a friend and her two precious little girls. We were all starving so we searched out food first. They call this area Dine-Esty. It’s amazing the amount of choices you have. We chose the Taco Mix. I had the Pozole soup which was a special that day. It was a chilly October day, so it was perfect for me. They had the Birria Ramen. Wow!! There are seating areas by all the food spots but we chose to sit outside. There was a kids band playing that day. So cute! There is a brewery truck and even a fire pit. Such a cool place to have lunch. Check out their events page for the entertainment.

There are more dining options too. Wether you want to have a quick bite or a full, sit down meal, there is something for you.
There is also a lot of shopping to do. There are beautiful home decor shops like ABC Carpert and Home, West Elm Outlet, RH Outlet….. There are even markets where you can get groceries from all corners of the world! If you’re into hand crafted items like me, go up into the Makers Guild at #UpstairsAtIC. There are beautiful studios where all kinds of magic happens!
There are classes from yoga to cocktail making. There are movie nights, concerts…They say “spend an hour or spend a day!” It is true. I will be going back soon!
Let me know if you go and what was the best part.
