I’m a proud Latina mom, and this little space I’ve created is where home, culture, and creativity come together.
For a long time, I felt like I was doing everything for everyone else… and somewhere in the middle of it all, I lost a little bit of myself.
So I started going back to the things that always grounded me.
Cooking. Decorating. Creating.
Not in a perfect way… just in a real way.
And little by little, I found my way back.
Now I share that with other women who might be feeling the same.
I help women reconnect with themselves through the everyday things that matter most.
Inside this space, you’ll find:
Cooking
Simple, flavorful meals rooted in Latin culture, made for real life.
Home Decorating
Creating a space that feels warm, lived in, and truly yours, without needing a big budget.
DIY & Crafts
Finding joy in making things with your hands, and bringing creativity back into your life.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about creating a life that feels like you again.
I’ve spent over 30 years working in healthcare, where I saw firsthand how important it is to take care of ourselves.
That’s what led me to focus on cooking meals that are not only nourishing, but still deeply connected to our Latin culture. Because we shouldn’t have to choose between health and tradition.
At the same time, I’ve spent over 25 years in home decorating, running my own studio and helping clients create beautiful spaces.
But what I became known for was something a little different.
I focused on DIY.
Because I knew what it felt like to want a beautiful home… and not always have the budget for it.
So I learned how to make what I had work.
And I taught other women how to do the same.
That combination, health, home, and culture, is what shaped everything I do today.
The Casita is more than a community.
It’s a place where you can come as you are… sit down for a moment… and feel like yourself again.
It’s where we cook together.
Share ideas.
Talk about real life.
And reconnect with the parts of us that sometimes get pushed to the side.
There’s always something happening, whether it’s a cooking class, a conversation, or just a moment to pause and breathe.
No pressure.
No perfection.
Just a space that feels like home.
