As a first gen Latina, I’ve had to overcome many life challenges. From not speaking English as a child, to being the oldest and only girl, responsible for the others, life was always interesting.
As an adult, I always searched for something creative. I taught myself how make window treatments, slipcovers, upholstery, paint furniture…. Some of it was just pure practicality since I couldn’t afford new.
As a head strong Latina and determined woman, I never take no for an answer. I just find a way.
Now I want to share what I have learned with other Latinas. Especially my culture. It’s everything to me! It’s so important for me to teach women how to embrace these modern ways without forgetting about their roots.
I’ve always believed that home is more than just a place; it’s a feeling. A feeling of warmth, tranquility, and belonging. It’s amor! In my journey to create a space that makes you feel these sentiments, I’ve discovered how to curate coziness. My friends always say my house feels so cozy. I am here to teach you to how to do the same in your home!
