Carmelized Onions

These onions are so sweet they’re like candy!
Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large Vidalia Onion sliced in rings
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

  1. Drizzle oil in a heavy bottomed pan
  2. Peel and slice the onion into rings
  3. Place onions in the pan
  4. Sautee on med low until the onions start to carmelize
  5. Once the onions are getting a dark golden color add your Worcestershire sauce
  6. Sautee a few more minutes until the onions are a dark amber color
  7. Add your salt, stir and take off the heat.
